These terms govern your use of the Mapling app. By using Mapling, you agree to them.

The app

Mapling is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for the content you create in the app. Because your notes are stored locally on your device, keeping backups is your responsibility — export them from the app whenever you want a copy.

Mapling Plus

Mapling Plus is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited maps, additional map backgrounds, and removes ads. Purchases, refunds, and restoration are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their respective terms. Features included in Plus may evolve over time.

Advertising

The free version displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

Acceptable use

Don't use Mapling to break the law, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its distribution.

Disclaimer & liability

Mapling is provided without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Since data is stored on your device, uninstalling the app or losing your device may result in permanent loss of your notes if you have not exported a backup.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be posted here with its date.
